Marinade:
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon Chinese five-spice powder
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- ½ teaspoon red food coloring (optional)
Main Ingredients:
- 1 pound pork shoulder or pork loin, sliced into 1-inch thick strips
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, Chinese five-spice powder, oyster sauce, Shaoxing wine, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red food coloring if using. Mix well.
- Marinate the Pork: Add pork strips to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Place marinated pork strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Rest and Serve: Let the pork rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- If you don’t have an air fryer, you can roast the pork in a 425°F oven for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway through. Serve with steamed rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
