Description

Delightfully crispy and creamy, these Air Fryer Blueberry Cheesecake Wontons are a quick and easy dessert perfect for any occasion. A luscious cream cheese and blueberry filling is sealed inside crispy wonton wrappers and air fried to golden perfection, offering a sweet treat with minimal fuss.

Ingredients

Scale

Filling

  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1½ tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup blueberries (quartered, fresh or frozen)

Assembly

  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • Water (for sealing wrappers)
  • Cooking spray
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to fully preheat to ensure even cooking of the wontons.
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a small bowl, thoroughly mix together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and quartered blueberries until evenly combined.
  3. Assemble the Wontons: Lay out the 12 wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Distribute the cream cheese mixture evenly onto the center of each wrapper. Moisten two adjacent edges of each wrapper with water using your finger to help seal them. Fold each wrapper over diagonally into a triangle shape and press edges firmly to seal tightly.
  4. Cook the Wontons: Place the assembled wontons onto the air fryer tray in a single layer without overlapping. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray to promote golden crispiness. Air fry for 4 to 6 minutes or until the wontons are golden brown and crisp.
  5. Serve: Remove the wontons carefully from the air fryer. Optionally, sprinkle with powdered sugar for added sweetness and presentation. Serve immediately while warm for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Make sure to seal the wontons tightly with water to prevent filling leakage during cooking.
  • Use fresh or frozen blueberries; if using frozen, no need to thaw before mixing.
  • Cooking time may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model; watch closely to prevent burning.
  • For extra crispiness, you can lightly brush the wontons with melted butter instead of cooking spray.
  • Powdered sugar is optional but adds a nice finishing touch and sweetness.
