For the burger patties:
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For serving:
- 4 hamburger buns
- Optional toppings: sliced cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined—do not overmix.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than your buns.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overlapping. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the buns in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes if desired.
- Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not press down on the patties while cooking to keep them juicy.
- Ground turkey or chicken can be substituted for a leaner option.
