For the burger patties:

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For serving:

  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: sliced cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined—do not overmix.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than your buns.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  4. Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overlapping. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  5. If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  6. Toast the buns in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes if desired.
  7. Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not press down on the patties while cooking to keep them juicy.
