			Bread:
- 4 slices sourdough or multigrain bread
 
Avocado:
- 1 ripe avocado (mashed or sliced)
 
Cheese:
- 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
 - 2 slices mozzarella cheese
 
Additional:
- 1 small tomato (thinly sliced, optional)
 - 1 tablespoon butter (softened)
 - Salt and black pepper to taste
 - Pinch of red pepper flakes or fresh basil (optional)
 
Instructions
- Prepare the Bread: Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread.
 - Layer the Sandwiches: Place cheese, avocado, tomato, seasonings, and additional cheese between the bread slices.
