For the filling:

  • ¾ cup blueberry jam or preserves
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries

For the cheesecake layer:

  • 6 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Dough Preparation: In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let it sit until foamy. Add remaining sugar, egg, melted butter, flour, and salt. Knead until smooth, then let rise for 1–1.5 hours.
  2. Cheesecake Filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Assembly: Roll out the dough, spread cheesecake filling, blueberry jam, and blueberries. Roll into a log, slice into rolls, and place in a baking dish.
  4. Baking: Let rise, then bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes.
  5. Glazing: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

  • You can use raspberry or strawberry jam as a variation.
  • If using frozen blueberries, do not thaw before adding.
