Description

Indulge in a luxurious twist on a classic seafood dish with this Brown Butter Lobster Roll Pasta. Succulent lobster meat and linguine are coated in a rich, nutty brown butter sauce, accented with garlic, lemon, and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

Linguine or Spaghetti:

12 ounces;

Unsalted Butter:

1/2 cup;

Garlic, minced:

2 cloves;

Cooked Lobster Meat, chopped:

1 pound;

Lemon, juice and zest:

of 1 lemon;

Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (optional):

1/4 teaspoon;

Fresh Chives, chopped:

1/4 cup;

Fresh Parsley, chopped:

1/4 cup;

Salt and Black Pepper:

to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: In salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare Brown Butter Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until golden brown and nutty, about 4–5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Stir in lobster meat, lemon juice, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes. Toss to warm through for about 2 minutes.
  4. Assemble Dish: Add pasta to the skillet, tossing with the brown butter sauce. If needed, add reserved pasta water gradually to coat evenly.
  5. Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper, then stir in chives and parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a richer dish, finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
  • To enhance the lobster roll flavor, add a touch of Old Bay seasoning to the butter.
