Description

This decadent Brownie Batter Dip is a no-bake dessert dip that delivers all the rich, chocolatey flavor of brownie batter with a creamy, fluffy texture. Made with cream cheese, butter, cocoa, and sugar, it’s perfect for parties or a sweet snack. Serve chilled with graham crackers, pretzels, or fresh fruit for a crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (plus more if needed)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional Mix-ins and Toppings

  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat Cream Cheese and Butter: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and fluffy to create the creamy base of the dip.
  2. Add Dry Ingredients and Flavorings: Add powdered sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, heat-treated flour, milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the bowl. Mix well until the batter is creamy and fully combined.
  3. Adjust Consistency: If the dip is too thick, add an additional tablespoon of milk gradually until you reach your desired creamy consistency.
  4. Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in mini chocolate chips if using, to add texture and extra chocolate bursts.
  5. Chill and Serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes to allow flavors to meld or serve immediately. Serve with graham crackers, pretzels, apple slices, strawberries, or vanilla wafers.

Notes

  • Heat-treat the flour before use by microwaving for 1 minute or baking at 350°F for 5 minutes to ensure food safety.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Use fresh, softened cream cheese and butter for the best texture.
  • Customize by adding nuts or using different mix-ins like white chocolate chips or chopped candies.
