Ingredients

Scale

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 small head green cabbage (chopped)
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes (with juices)
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Topping:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the Beef Mixture: In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook until cabbage softens.
