Salmon Fillets:
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
Seasoning:
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
For Cooking:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Honey Butter Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Garnish:
- lemon wedges and chopped parsley
Instructions
- Pat Dry and Season: Pat salmon fillets dry, season with Cajun seasoning and salt.
- Cook Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook salmon skin-side down until crispy, flip and cook until nearly done.
- Prepare Honey Butter Sauce: Push salmon aside, melt butter, honey, and garlic in the skillet. Spoon sauce over salmon as it finishes cooking.
- Finish and Garnish: Drizzle with lemon juice, garnish with lemon wedges and parsley. Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the Cajun seasoning.
- This recipe can also be baked in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, then broil for 2 minutes for a caramelized finish. Serve with rice, roasted veggies, or salad.
