Description

This Cajun Honey Butter Salmon recipe is a mouthwatering dish that combines the bold flavors of Cajun seasoning with the sweetness of honey butter glaze. Perfect for a quick and flavorful dinner!


Ingredients

Salmon Fillets:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

Seasoning:

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt

For Cooking:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Honey Butter Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Garnish:

  • lemon wedges and chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Pat Dry and Season: Pat salmon fillets dry, season with Cajun seasoning and salt.
  2. Cook Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook salmon skin-side down until crispy, flip and cook until nearly done.
  3. Prepare Honey Butter Sauce: Push salmon aside, melt butter, honey, and garlic in the skillet. Spoon sauce over salmon as it finishes cooking.
  4. Finish and Garnish: Drizzle with lemon juice, garnish with lemon wedges and parsley. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the Cajun seasoning.
  • This recipe can also be baked in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, then broil for 2 minutes for a caramelized finish. Serve with rice, roasted veggies, or salad.
