  • 6 tablespoons prepared pizza sauce (1 tablespoon per slice)
  • 2 cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese (approximately ⅓ cup per slice)

Toppings

  • 18 slices pepperoni (3 per slice of bread)
  • ⅓ cup sliced button mushrooms
  • ⅓ cup diced green bell pepper
  • ⅓ cup diced red onion
  • 4 fresh basil leaves, julienned


Instructions

  1. Preheat and Toast Bread: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and lay out the bread slices in a single layer. Bake for 3 to 4 minutes until the bread starts to toast but is not fully browned.
  2. Add Toppings: Remove the toasted bread from the oven and flip each slice over. Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce evenly on each slice.
