Ingredients
Scale
For the Yogurt-Strawberry Mixture:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Coating:
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
Instructions
- Prepare the Yogurt-Strawberry Mixture: In a bowl, mix the chopped strawberries with Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until evenly coated.
- Form the Clusters: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spoon small mounds of the yogurt-strawberry mixture onto the sheet, about 1–2 tablespoons each, spaced slightly apart. Freeze for 1–2 hours until solid.
- Coat with Chocolate: Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Dip each frozen cluster into the melted chocolate, using a fork to coat fully.
- Final Freeze: Place the coated clusters back on the parchment-lined sheet and freeze for another 15–20 minutes until set. Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
Notes
- You can swap strawberries with blueberries or raspberries.
- Use dairy-free yogurt and chocolate for a vegan version.
- Enhance with a pinch of sea salt or crushed nuts for added flavor and texture.
