Description

Indulge in these delightful Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters, a perfect blend of sweet strawberries, creamy Greek yogurt, and rich chocolate. These frozen treats are easy to make and ideal for a guilt-free snack or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Yogurt-Strawberry Mixture:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Chocolate Coating:

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Yogurt-Strawberry Mixture: In a bowl, mix the chopped strawberries with Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until evenly coated.
  2. Form the Clusters: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spoon small mounds of the yogurt-strawberry mixture onto the sheet, about 1–2 tablespoons each, spaced slightly apart. Freeze for 1–2 hours until solid.
  3. Coat with Chocolate: Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Dip each frozen cluster into the melted chocolate, using a fork to coat fully.
  4. Final Freeze: Place the coated clusters back on the parchment-lined sheet and freeze for another 15–20 minutes until set. Store in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

  • You can swap strawberries with blueberries or raspberries.
  • Use dairy-free yogurt and chocolate for a vegan version.
  • Enhance with a pinch of sea salt or crushed nuts for added flavor and texture.
