  • 12 jalapeños (seeded for less heat)

Creamy Base:

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Additional:

  • 12 tablespoons olive oil or water (to thin, as needed)

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: In a food processor or blender, combine the cilantro, jalapeños, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, lime juice, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  2. Adjust Consistency: If the dip is too thick, add olive oil or water 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Season to Taste: Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more lime juice or salt if desired.
  4. Chill and Serve: Transfer to a serving bowl and chill for 10–15 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
