Ground Beef Mixture:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 can (15 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Tater Tot Layer:
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat oven: to 375°F.
- Cook beef mixture: In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic. Add soup, sour cream, corn, 1/2 cup cheddar, paprika, pepper, and salt. Spread in baking dish.
- Add tater tots: Arrange tater tots on top of beef mixture.
- Bake: Uncovered for 25 minutes. Sprinkle remaining cheese over tater tots and bake for 5–10 minutes more.
Notes
- You can substitute cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken or cream of celery.
- For a spicy kick, add diced green chilies or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the beef mixture.
