- 1 (20-ounce) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
For the Sauce:
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Tortellini: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook tortellini according to package directions. Add broccoli in the last 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Chicken: Season chicken with salt and pepper. Sauté in olive oil until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: Sauté garlic in the skillet. Add broth and cream. Stir in Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Combine and Serve: Return chicken, tortellini, and broccoli to the skillet. Toss in the sauce. Heat through and garnish with parsley before serving.
