Ingredients

Bowtie Pasta:

    8 ounces bowtie pasta (farfalle)

Ground Beef Mixture:

1 pound ground beef; 1 small onion, diced; 2 cloves garlic, minced; 2 tablespoons olive oil; ½ teaspoon salt; ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Additional Ingredients:

1 cup frozen sweet corn, thawed; 1 cup sour cream; 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided; 1 packet ranch seasoning mix; ½ cup milk; 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta: Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. Prepare the beef mixture: In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Sauté onion and garlic until softened. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, about 7-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  4. Combine ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine pasta, beef mixture, sweet corn, sour cream, ranch seasoning mix, milk, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  5. Assemble and bake: Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version.
  • For additional veggies, consider adding diced bell peppers or chopped spinach.
  • Use low-fat sour cream and cheese for a lighter dish.
