Description

These Crispy Spicy Salmon Bites are the perfect blend of flavors with a kick of heat. Tender salmon pieces are marinated in a spicy, sweet sauce, coated in cornstarch for a crispy exterior, then pan-fried to perfection. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds for a delightful Asian-inspired dish.

Ingredients

Scale

Salmon Marinade:

  • 1 pound skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Coating and Cooking:

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for pan-frying)
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Salmon: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sriracha, honey, sesame oil, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Add salmon cubes, toss to coat, and marinate in the fridge for 15–30 minutes.
  2. Coat the Salmon: Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated salmon and toss gently to coat evenly.
  3. Pan-Fry the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon cubes in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until crispy and cooked through.
  4. Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot with rice, noodles, or a salad.

Notes

  • For an air fryer version, cook at 400°F (200°C) for 7–9 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less sriracha.
