			For the Pie:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
 - 2 large eggs
 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted and slightly cooled)
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries (if using frozen, do not thaw)
 
Optional:
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
 - Powdered sugar for dusting
 
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch pie dish or round baking dish.
 - Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, and salt.
 - Prepare Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk the eggs, then stir in the melted butter and vanilla (and lemon zest if using).
 - Combine Ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.
 - Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
 - Cool and Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled.
