Instructions

  2. Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Gently fold in the clean dandelion petals.
  4. Form and bake cookies: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly with your fingers or the back of a spoon. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
