- Prepare pudding mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until the mixture thickens. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined to create a smooth and creamy filling.
- First graham cracker layer: In a 9×13-inch baking dish, arrange a single layer of graham crackers evenly on the bottom to form the base of the dessert.
- Spread pudding mixture: Evenly spread half of the prepared pudding mixture over the layer of graham crackers, ensuring complete coverage for uniform layering.
- Second graham cracker layer: Place another layer of graham crackers over the pudding mixture to build layers for the cake.
- Second pudding layer: Spread the remaining pudding mixture evenly over the second graham cracker layer.
- Final graham cracker layer: Add a final layer of graham crackers on top to complete the layered structure of the cake.
- Chocolate frosting topping: Microwave the can of chocolate frosting for 15–20 seconds to soften it slightly, then spread it evenly over the top layer of graham crackers for a rich, chocolatey finish.
