Description

Fruity Pebbles Treats are a colorful and delightfully sweet dessert made by combining melted butter, marshmallows, and Fruity Pebbles cereal. These no-bake treats are easy to prepare, perfect for a quick snack or party treat loved by kids and adults alike. With their vibrant fruity flavors and crispy texture, they provide a fun and nostalgic twist on classic cereal bars.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 7 tablespoons butter
  • 10 ounces miniature marshmallows
  • 8 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Grease the bottom and sides of a 9×13 inch pan using one end of a stick of butter to prevent sticking. Set the pan aside.
  2. Melt butter and marshmallows: In a large pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the miniature marshmallows and stir continuously until the marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Mix in cereal: Remove the pan from the heat immediately. Quickly pour in the Fruity Pebbles cereal and stir as fast as possible to evenly coat the cereal with the melted marshmallow mixture.
  4. Transfer and press mixture: Pour the combined mixture into the prepared pan. Lightly dampen your fingers with cool water and use them to evenly press and spread the mixture into the pan, packing it down firmly.
  5. Set and cut: Allow the treats to sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to set and firm up before cutting into squares for serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly melted marshmallows for best texture; re-melting old mixtures can cause dryness.
  • Dampening your hands when pressing the mixture helps prevent sticking.
  • You can substitute Fruity Pebbles with other similar cereal flavors if desired.
  • Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days for optimal freshness.
