Cauliflower:

Skillet Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cremini or white mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Heat Skillet: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté Cauliflower: Add cauliflower florets and sauté for 8–10 minutes until they begin to brown and soften.
  3. Cook Mushrooms: Add mushrooms and cook for another 5–7 minutes until tender and golden.
  4. Add Seasonings: Stir in garlic, thyme, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 more minutes.
  5. Finish: Remove from heat, add parsley and lemon juice. Serve hot.
