Skillet Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 8 oz cremini or white mushrooms, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- Heat Skillet: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté Cauliflower: Add cauliflower florets and sauté for 8–10 minutes until they begin to brown and soften.
- Cook Mushrooms: Add mushrooms and cook for another 5–7 minutes until tender and golden.
- Add Seasonings: Stir in garlic, thyme, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 more minutes.
- Finish: Remove from heat, add parsley and lemon juice. Serve hot.
