Batter:
- 1 medium head cauliflower (cut into bite-sized florets)
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3/4 cup water
Breadcrumb Coating:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- cooking spray or additional olive oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and water until smooth. Coat cauliflower florets in the batter.
- Coat with Breadcrumbs: Mix panko breadcrumbs with olive oil. Roll each cauliflower piece in the breadcrumb mixture and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve: Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

- Enhance the flavor by adding Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast to the breadcrumbs.
- Pair with ranch, spicy mayo, or buffalo sauce for dipping.
