Ground Beef Filling:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup salsa or diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
Wraps & Toppings:
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Optional toppings: sour cream, lettuce, avocado, hot sauce
Instructions
- Sauté Aromatics: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion until softened, then add garlic. Cook until fragrant.
- Cook Beef: Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in salsa until thickened.
- Assemble Wraps: Warm tortillas, spoon beef mixture onto each, top with cheese and desired toppings. Roll tightly.
- Serve: Enjoy warm wraps as is or grill briefly for a crisp exterior.
