- 1 bag (16 oz) frozen corn
- 2 ounces cream cheese, cut into chunks
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Melt Butter and Honey: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the salted butter together with honey until fully combined and smooth.
- Cook Corn: Add the frozen corn to the skillet and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally until the corn is heated through and tender.
- Add Cream Cheese and Seasoning: Stir in the cream cheese chunks along with salt and black pepper. Continue cooking for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cream cheese melts and blends into a creamy sauce coating the corn evenly.
- Serve: Remove from heat and serve immediately while warm. Store any leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Notes
- Use salted butter to enhance the flavor, but adjust salt accordingly if using unsalted butter.
- Fresh corn can be substituted but adjust cooking time accordingly.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute cream cheese and butter with vegan alternatives.
- Reheat leftovers gently on low heat to avoid curdling the cream cheese.
