Ingredients
Scale
For the Shrimp:
- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon blackening seasoning (paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, pepper)
- 2 tablespoons hot honey
For the Salad:
- 1 large head romaine lettuce (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shaved or grated)
- 1 cup croutons
- lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and coat with olive oil and blackening seasoning. Cook in a skillet until opaque, then drizzle with hot honey.
- Assemble the Salad: Toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing. Divide among plates and top with shrimp, Parmesan, and croutons. Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by using more or less cayenne in the blackening mix.
- For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt-based Caesar dressing.
- This recipe also works well with grilled chicken or salmon instead of shrimp.
