- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 3/4 cup cold buttermilk, plus more for brushing
Hot Honey:
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1–2 teaspoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate Chicken: Combine chicken with buttermilk and hot sauce; marinate in the fridge.
- Prepare Biscuits: Mix dry ingredients, cut in butter, stir in buttermilk, shape, and bake.
- Fry Chicken: Dredge marinated chicken in seasoned flour, fry until crispy.
- Make Hot Honey: Warm honey with hot sauce and red pepper flakes.
- Assemble: Layer biscuits with fried chicken, drizzle with hot honey, and serve.
