Description

A refreshing and delightful Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade that combines the delicate flavors of green tea with sweet peach juice and tangy lemonade, served chilled over ice. Perfect for a cooling summer beverage that can be sweetened to taste with honey or agave syrup.

Ingredients

Scale

Tea Base

  • 1 cup (240 ml) water, for steeping green tea
  • 1 green tea bag, high-quality loose leaf or tea bag

Mix-ins

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) peach juice
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) lemonade
  • 1 handful ice cubes (about 4-6 cubes), filtered water or infused

Sweetener (optional)

  • Honey (for non-vegan) or agave syrup (vegan alternative)

Instructions

  1. Steep the Green Tea: Bring 1 cup (240 ml) of water to a boil. Pour the hot water over the green tea bag in a cup or teapot and steep for exactly 3 minutes to extract flavor without bitterness.
  2. Cool the Tea: Remove the tea bag and let the green tea cool to room temperature. Then place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill.
  3. Prepare the Glass: Fill a tall glass with a handful of ice cubes (approximately 4-6). Adding ice a couple of minutes before pouring helps keep the drink colder longer.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Pour the chilled green tea, 1/2 cup (120 ml) peach juice, and 1/2 cup (120 ml) lemonade into the glass over the ice. Stir gently to combine all the flavors.
  5. Adjust Sweetness: Taste the drink. If you prefer it sweeter, add honey or agave syrup and stir well until dissolved. If it becomes too sweet, balance the flavor with about 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of fresh lemon juice.

Notes

  • Use high-quality green tea for the best flavor.
  • Ensure tea is not over-steeped to avoid bitterness.
  • Use fresh or high-quality peach juice and lemonade for optimal taste.
  • Adjust sweetness and tartness according to preference.
  • This drink is perfect served immediately but can be stored chilled for up to 2 hours.
  • For a vegan version, use agave syrup instead of honey.
