- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp milk
Seasonings:
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Additional:
- olive oil spray
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, milk, garlic, onion, parsley, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix just until combined—do not overwork the meat.
- Form Meatballs: Using your hands or a cookie scoop, form the mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls (about 16–18 meatballs).
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
- Cook Meatballs: Arrange the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them. Cook in batches if necessary. Air fry for 9–11 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the meatballs are browned and cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F).
- Serve: Serve hot with marinara, pasta, or as an appetizer.
Notes
- To keep meatballs extra juicy, avoid pressing them too tightly when forming.
- You can swap parsley for basil or oregano.
- These freeze well—store cooked meatballs in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
