For the Meatballs:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup orange marmalade
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Optional Garnish:
- Chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Meatballs: In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 18–20 minutes until browned.
- Make the Glaze: In a skillet, combine marmalade, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until thickened.
- Coat the Meatballs: Add baked meatballs to the skillet and toss to coat. Simmer for a few more minutes until heated through.
- Serve: Garnish with green onions if desired and serve hot.
