Ingredients

Scale

Tater Tot Cups:

  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots

Cheeseburgers:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese (cut into quarters)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 24 small pickle slices
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Spray a mini muffin pan with cooking spray and place 3 tater tots into each cup.
  2. Bake the tater tots: Bake for 10 minutes, then press the tater tots down into each cup to form a base. Bake for another 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  3. Cook the ground beef: Cook the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Prepare the sauce: Mix ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard to create a burger sauce.
  5. Assemble the cheeseburgers: Spoon cooked beef into each tater tot cup. Top with a slice of cheddar cheese and bake until melted. Top with burger sauce, pickle slice, and diced red onion. Serve.

Notes

  • Great for game day or party appetizers.
  • Try using pepper jack or American cheese for a different flavor.
  • You can make ahead and reheat in the oven at 350°F for 8–10 minutes.
