Ingredients
Scale
Croissant Rolls
- 1 package (8 rolls) croissants
Filling
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 20 slices pepperoni
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for baking the croissant rolls.
- Prepare the Croissant Dough: Unroll the croissant dough onto an ungreased baking sheet, laying out all 8 croissant triangles flat with the wide ends easily accessible for filling.
- Add the Filling: On each croissant triangle, place a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese and about 2-3 slices of pepperoni, leaving a clear edge around to allow easy rolling.
- Season and Roll: Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the fillings on each triangle. Then, tightly roll the croissant from the wide end to the tip to encase the filling securely.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes, or until they turn a beautiful golden brown and the cheese inside is melted and bubbly.
- Cool and Serve: Remove the croissant rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly for a few minutes before serving to avoid burns and allow flavors to settle.
Notes
- Use fresh mozzarella cheese for optimal meltiness and flavor.
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes with the seasoning.
- These rolls can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
- Serve with marinara or ranch dip for extra taste.
