Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Eggs and Bananas: Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla and mashed bananas; mix well.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add dry ingredients to banana mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in nuts if desired.
- Bake: Pour batter into prepared pan, smooth the top, and bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool and Enjoy: Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
