- 1 to 2 tablespoons (15-30 ml) Torani Pumpkin Pie Sauce or homemade pumpkin sauce
- 1 to 2 tablespoons (15-30 ml) Torani French Vanilla Syrup or vanilla powder
Milk
- 2 to 4 ounces (60-120 ml) half & half
Toppings and Garnish
- Torani Caramel Sauce, amount for cup drizzle and optional topping
- Ice, as needed to fill the serving cup
Instructions
- Brew the Espresso: Brew 2 to 4 shots of espresso using your preferred method such as an espresso machine, Nespresso machine, Moka pot, Aeropress, or instant espresso powder. A strong, freshly brewed espresso base is essential to enhance the drink’s rich flavor.
- Mix Pumpkin and Vanilla Flavors: Add 1 to 2 tablespoons each of Torani Pumpkin Pie Sauce and Torani French Vanilla Syrup (or vanilla powder) into the hot brewed espresso. Stir thoroughly for at least 30 seconds to fully combine the flavors and ensure an even taste throughout.
- Prepare the Serving Cup: Drizzle caramel sauce decoratively along the inside walls of your serving cup. This adds both sweetness and an attractive visual element. Then fill the cup with ice to your preferred level to keep the drink chilled.
- Assemble the Drink: Pour the pumpkin-vanilla espresso mixture over the ice-filled caramel-drizzled cup. Top it with 2 to 4 ounces (60-120 ml) of half & half, which adds a creamy texture and balances the espresso and syrups. Stir gently if desired to blend the layers smoothly.
- Finish with Caramel Drizzle: For a sweeter finish and elegant presentation, drizzle additional caramel sauce on top of the drink. This enhances both the flavor and the drink’s overall appearance.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of espresso shots based on personal preference for strength.
- If Torani Pumpkin Pie Sauce is unavailable, homemade pumpkin sauce with similar spices can be substituted.
- Vanilla powder may be used as a dry alternative to syrup, but ensure thorough stirring for full incorporation.
- Use half & half or substitute with any preferred milk or cream for varying creaminess and fat content.
- Serving with ice keeps the drink refreshing but can be omitted if a hot version is preferred.
- The caramel drizzle is optional but adds sweetness and an appealing presentation.
