Description

These Sheet-Pan Lobster Roll Sliders are a delightful twist on the classic lobster roll, making them perfect for parties or easy entertaining. The rich flavors of buttery lobster meat, combined with chives and Old Bay seasoning, are served on warm slider buns for a delicious bite-sized treat.

Ingredients

Slider Buns:

1 package slider buns (e.g., Kings Hawaiian or mini brioche)

Lobster Filling:

1 pound cooked lobster meat (chopped), ½ cup unsalted butter (melted), 1 tablespoon chopped chives, 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning, 1 clove garlic (finely grated)

Optional Additions:

¼ cup mayonnaise, 1 rib celery (finely chopped), 2 tablespoons mayonnaise-style or Dijon mustard, lemon juice (from ½ lemon), salt and pepper to taste, small lettuce leaves (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Slider Buns: Place slider buns in a single layer on the sheet pan. Mix melted butter, chives, Old Bay, and garlic. Brush the butter mixture over the buns.
  3. Bake Buns: Bake for about 10 minutes until golden.
  4. Prepare Lobster Filling: In a bowl, combine lobster meat with optional ingredients if desired.
  5. Assemble Sliders: Fill each slider bun with the lobster mixture. Add lettuce leaves if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Brushing both the inside and outside of the buns with flavored butter enhances the savory flavor.
  • For a lighter option, use less butter and opt for a light mayo-based lobster salad.
  • Slider buns make serving and portion control easy for entertaining.
