Description
These Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs with Coke are fall-off-the-bone tender and bursting with flavor. The combination of Coca-Cola and barbecue sauce creates a sweet and tangy glaze that caramelizes perfectly under the broiler.

Ribs:
- 3–4 lbs baby back ribs or St. Louis-style ribs
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Additional:
- 1 can (12 oz) Coca-Cola (not diet)
- 2 cups barbecue sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Spray the Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Season Ribs: Remove the membrane from the ribs, if needed. Season the ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
- Place Ribs in Slow Cooker: Cut ribs if necessary to fit in the slow cooker. Arrange the ribs in the slow cooker.
- Add Coca-Cola: Pour Coca-Cola over the ribs. Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- Broil Ribs: Remove ribs from slow cooker. Brush with barbecue sauce and broil until caramelized.
- Serve: Slice and serve with extra sauce if desired.
Notes
- Consider using Dr. Pepper or root beer as alternative sodas for a flavor variation.
- For spicier ribs, add cayenne pepper or chili powder to the seasoning mix.
