  • food coloring (optional)
  • holiday sprinkles for decoration


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the cookie dough: Cream together butter and sugar, then add eggs, vanilla, and almond extract. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients, alternating with sour cream.
  3. Bake the cookies: Drop dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 9–11 minutes until golden. Cool on a wire rack.
