Description

Indulge in the luxurious flavors of a classic tiramisu in this light and airy Tiramisu Dream Mousse. This no-bake dessert is a delightful twist on the traditional Italian favorite, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Mascarpone Mousse:

  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Coffee Layer:

  • 1/2 cup strong brewed espresso or coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)

Additional:

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, plus extra for dusting
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely grated or shaved

Instructions

  1. Mascarpone Mousse: In a large bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. In a separate chilled bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks. Gently fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.

  3. Coffee Layer: In a small bowl, mix cooled espresso and coffee liqueur if using.
  4. Assembly: In serving glasses, layer a spoonful of mascarpone mousse, a light drizzle of the coffee mixture, a sprinkle of cocoa powder, and some grated chocolate. Repeat layers until glasses are filled, ending with mousse. Dust tops with cocoa powder and a final sprinkle of chocolate shavings.
  5. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving for best texture.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit coffee liqueur and use extra espresso.
  • This mousse can also be piped into mini cups for a party-friendly dessert.
